I'm really pleased with how the "NOTHING without EVERYTHING" show came together. During installation, I wore myself out because I basically never went home. I succeeded in being the first overnight guest at Groundwork! Needless to say, I wasn't the sharpest conversationalist at the opening, so it was a good thing I opted against doing any kind of artist talk...or much talking at all for that matter. I'd like to make that right and Groundwork continues to be extremely supportive, so here we go.
Today we set a date for an Artist Talk and general wrap-up celebration for the mural and gallery exhibition. It will take place on Friday, March 11th from 6-8:00 at GROUNDWORK!(1213 Purchase Street, New Bedford, MA). Artist talk will begin at 7:00. It won't be particularly long, but will be a nice opportunity to actually verbalize some of what this show is about now that I've had a chance to reflect on it. The show will be up for about a week beyond the 11th. Full details, press release, Facebook event, etc. forthcoming. Look out for all that early next week.
Many thanks to everyone who has been supportive of this and anything ever, really. I'm nothing without everyone and everything around me. Thanks for giving me context and identity.
